Course Enrollment Refund & Cancellation Policy
1. General Provisions
This policy applies to all courses offered by AITE Institute, including standard courses, promotional courses, bulk session packages, and custom programs. By enrolling, students (and their parents or guardians) acknowledge and accept these terms in full. This policy supersedes any conflicting terms unless explicitly noted otherwise.
2. Promotional & Bonus Session Rules
Bonus sessions awarded through promotions or bulk package purchases may only be used after the student has completed their paid sessions. Bonus sessions carry no cash value and are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for other services.
- If a refund is requested before all purchased sessions are completed, bonus sessions are forfeited.
- Bonus sessions may only be applied to the same service type and cannot be used across different program categories.
- Specific bonus terms for each promotion or package are governed by the applicable offer announcement or contract.
3. Pricing & Course Transfer Rules
All course prices are based on the current rates published on the AITE Institute website or official notices.
- Refund calculation: Consumed sessions are valued at the per-hour rate at the time of original enrollment — not at any subsequently adjusted rate.
- Course transfers: If a student requests a transfer to a different course level or type, the transfer is recalculated at the current rate. Any difference must be paid by the student.
4. Account Credits (Pre-payment Balance)
- Account credits have no expiration date and may be applied to future sessions.
- Credits are non-transferable to other accounts.
- If credits are applied toward a different course type, the applicable amount is recalculated at current rates. Any shortfall must be paid by the student.
5. Refund Calculation Formula
Refund Amount = Total Amount Paid − (Hours Completed × Original Per-Hour Rate)
Promotional packages with bonus sessions:
- If purchased sessions are not yet fully completed: bonus sessions are forfeited; refund calculated on purchased sessions only.
- If all purchased sessions are completed: no additional payment required for bonus sessions already used.
6. Refund Application Process
To request a refund, contact your course advisor and submit the following:
- Payment records (date and amount of payment)
- Written explanation of refund reason
- Signed contract termination agreement (required to formally end the course agreement)
AITE Institute will complete its review within 7 business days of receiving complete documentation. Approved refunds are processed within 15 business days via the original payment method.
7. Attendance, Late Arrival & Absence Policy
Late arrival: Time missed due to late arrival is not made up. Students are responsible for arriving on time.
Planned absence (24+ hours notice required):
- Group classes: Students may choose to (a) convert the missed session to account credit, or (b) attend a 1-on-1 make-up session by paying the price difference between group and 1-on-1 rates.
- 1-on-1 sessions: With proper 24-hour notice, the session may be rescheduled at no charge.
Unexcused absence (no notice or less than 24 hours):
- 1-on-1 sessions: Session is forfeited — no refund and no make-up provided.
- Emergency or illness with at least 2 hours notice and supporting documentation: session may be rescheduled or converted to account credit.

3. Information Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We may share data with trusted service providers under strict confidentiality agreements, or with law enforcement when required by law.
4. Data Security
We use SSL/TLS encryption for all online communications. Payments are processed through PCI-compliant providers. No internet transmission is 100% secure, but we take all reasonable precautions.
5. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By enrolling in any AITE Institute program, you agree to these Terms. Parents or guardians enrolling a minor agree on the student's behalf.
2. Services
AITE Institute provides educational tutoring, test preparation, academic planning, and college application services — delivered in-person at our Irvine, CA campus and online. Program details, schedules, and instructors are confirmed at enrollment.
3. Payment
Tuition is due at enrollment or as agreed in writing. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, bank transfers, and WeChat Pay. All payments are securely processed. Charges appear as AITE INSTITUTE on your card statement. By providing payment information, you authorize AITE Institute to charge the agreed fees.
4. Promotions & Discounts
Sibling and referral discounts apply to the lower-priced enrollment. Promotions cannot be combined unless explicitly stated. AITE Institute reserves the right to modify promotional offers at any time with reasonable notice.
5. Conduct
Students and families are expected to treat all staff and fellow students with respect. AITE Institute reserves the right to terminate enrollment without refund in cases of misconduct.
6. Intellectual Property
All course materials and content provided by AITE Institute are proprietary and copyright-protected. Students may not reproduce or distribute materials without written permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
AITE Institute does not guarantee specific academic outcomes, test scores, or admission results. Our liability is limited to tuition fees paid for the program at issue.
8. Modifications
AITE may modify program content, instructors, schedules, or pricing with reasonable notice. Material changes are communicated at least 14 days in advance.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by California law. Disputes shall be resolved in Orange County, California courts.
